VANLIFE CAMPGROUND
Stay and sleep the closest to the festival with our 4-night VanLife camping pass for ultra festival access. With quick access to the waterfront, bike shuttles and the downtown core right out your sliding door, home is truly where you park it.
VanLife Camping Overview:

Fenced lot managed by a camp host, with 24-hour access for VanLife campers wearing a VanLife AND 3-Day festival wristband.

Vans, rooftop tents and travel trailers up to 20 feet long are permitted. Tent camping on the ground is not allowed. Additional tent and RV camping is available at Larrabee State Park and Birch Bay State Park.

Private porta-potties, handwashing stations and water bottle refill stations provided. Electricity and running water not available.

NW Tune-Up and VanLife camping is a “rain or shine” event. If it rains, find the rainbows. No refunds will be given. Exchanges may be accommodated.
Location
The VanLife camping zone is located across the street from the festival grounds on Laurel Ave, just behind the Boardmill Building, and just two blocks from Downtown Bellingham.
Noise
VanLife is located close to active train tracks, which operate at all hours of the day/night (approximately 3-4 trains roll by at night). Earplugs and white noise machines at night are strongly recommended. VanLife camping may not be suitable for light sleepers.
Amenities
The campground has clean porta-potties, handwashing stations and water bottle refill stations, but does not have power or running water.
Access
A 3-Day festival pass is required for all VanLife campers. One vehicle or trailer allowed per VanLife camping pass. Towing vehicles may be parked in a designated area. VanLife vehicles/trailers must display a valid VanLife hang tag at all times. VanLife is fenced and monitored by camp hosts, 24/7. VanLife campers may only bring guests inside VanLife fencing who are wearing a Northwest Tune-Up festival wristband.
Checking In
VanLife camp lot opens Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 1 PM. Campers may check-in on a first come, first served basis until 8 PM, July 9–12, 2026. If you move your camper throughout your stay, you will not be guaranteed access to your original camp spot.
VanLife Rules
NO access without 3-Day Festival Pass for all guests
NO outside alcoholic beverages; alcoholic beverages will be available in the WMBC festival beer garden, Heclkers Lounge and at Kulshan Trackside
- NO tent camping allowed except for hard-top, pop-up tents affixed to car roof or truck bed
NO campfires
NO pets allowed
NO lasers, drones, weapons, contraband or other banned items allowed
Leave No Trace: Guests need to place all garbage/compost/recycling in the nearest designated area
Quiet 4-stroke or electric generators allowed ONLY 8 AM - midnight.
Vending will only be allowed by registered vendors in designated vending areas. Unregistered vending will NOT be tolerated

NW Tune-Up reserves the right to evict anyone who fails to follow these rule

Zero Waste Efforts
