Location
The 2025 VanLife zone has moved! The new location on W. Laurel St. offers more space, more privacy and (slightly) more distance from the train tracks. The new VanLife zone is now located on the south end of the festival grounds, off W. Laurel St.—just two blocks from Downtown Bellingham.
Noise
VanLife is located next to active train tracks, which operate at all hours of the day/night (approximately 3-4 trains roll by at night). Earplugs and white noise machines at night are strongly recommended. VanLife camping may not be suitable for light sleepers.
Amenities
The campground has clean porta-potties, handwashing stations and water bottle refill stations, but does not have power or running water.
Access
A 3-day festival pass is required for all VanLife campers. One vehicle/trailer allowed per VanLife camping pass. Towing vehicles may be parked in a designated area. VanLife vehicles/trailers must display a valid VanLife hang tag at all times. VanLife is fenced and monitored by camp hosts, 24/7. VanLife campers may only bring guests inside VanLife fencing who are wearing a Northwest Tune-Up festival wristband.
Checking In
VanLife camp lot opens Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 5:00pm. Campers may check-in on a first come, first served basis until 10pm, July 10–13, 2025. If you move your camper throughout your stay, you will not be guaranteed access to your original camp spot.
VanLife Rules
No pets, alcoholic beverages, campfires or weapons. Only camper vans, travel trailers under 25 feet (including tongue) and hard-top tents affixed to car roof or truck bed will be allowed camp space. Quiet hours: midnight–8:00am. Only quiet, 4-stroke generators will be allowed between 8am–midnight. Additional VanLife and festival rules FAQs can be found here.
Zero Waste Efforts
Help our festival eliminate landfill waste. Place all compost, recyclables and landfill waste in receptacles provided on site.
Code of Conduct
We do not allow laser pointers, drones, weapons, contraband or racist behavior on festival grounds or the VanLife zone. Familiarize yourself with all the Northwest Tune-Up festival’s code of conduct and FAQs.
