Summer is well on its way to Bellingham. During the festival weekend, July 12-14, 2024, many accommodation options will sell out in advance of the summer. We recommend booking your lodging ahead of time so you can stay and play with ease.
VanLife Camping
Camping in Downtown Bellingham during Northwest Tune-Up is a MTB dirtbag’s dream come true. Hopping on a mountain bike shuttle, getting the family geared up, rolling up as your favorite band is about to play or just vibing from your rooftop is a lot easier when your homebase is right next to all the action. 3-day ticketholders with a truck camper, rooftop tent or trailer under 25 feet are all welcome to join the VanLife party.
For more information or to book a VanLife spot, visit our VanLife page.
Protip: While the music won't go past 11 PM, the VanLife site is located next to active, whistle-blowing train tracks, so come prepared with earplugs and/or a white noise machine.
Hotel Lounging

Rustic Camping
With beautiful campsites all across Whatcom County, travelers really can’t go wrong with any camping option. However, some campgrounds are close to reaching capacity, so we urge you to plan accordingly. Visit Bellingham’s guide here for a full list of the campsites and their up-to-date availability. Note that Larrabee State Park and Birch Bay State Park are the two closest and most accessible campgrounds to the festival venue.
