Biking to the Venue
We’re a bike festival first and foremost, so riding your bike is encouraged! The venue is accessible via numerous bike lanes and bike paths throughout Bellingham, and a secure, pay-what-you-can bike parking service is available for ticketholders. Suggested donation of $5 per bike or $10 per family, per day. Overnight bike parking is not available. Free public bike parking is available to the public but is not monitored by NW Tune-Up staff. Be sure to bring a secure bike lock if riding your bike to the festival.

WTA: Park at the Cordata Station Park and Ride (Whatcom Community College) and hop on the 232 bus to the Bellingham Station (Downtown). The last 232 bus arrives/departs the Bellingham Station around 10 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and just after 7:30 p.m. on Sundays. WTA buses are equipped with bike racks, but slots are first come, first served. Click here for more info about bringing bikes on buses.
Driving to Bellingham
Take Interstate 5 to exit 253, turn west on Lakeway Drive, then a slight right onto E Holly Street. Follow E Holly Street for 0.5 miles, then take a left onto Cornwall Avenue. Vehicle parking is located 0.3 miles away from the festival entrance on Cornwall Avenue.
Flying
Bellingham International Airport (BLI) is conveniently located 4.5 miles from the waterfront festival grounds. Allegiant Airlines, Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines offer direct flights into Bellingham from participating destinations.
If flying into Sea-Tac International Airport (SEA), Everett’s Paine Field (PAI) or Vancouver International Airport (YVR), it is advised to rent a car, utilize ride-shares, or bus via Airporter Shuttle (Sea-Tac) and FlexiBus (Vancouver, British Columbia).

Free Bike Shuttles
To help you get around easier and reduce vehicle traffic, NW Tune-Up offers free bike shuttles to nearby trailhead parking lots for valid 3-day and 1-day ticketholders. Visit our bike shuttle page for more information.
Parking at Trailheads
If you must drive, limited parking is available at the local trailheads. Please utilize the parking lots below and allow yourself extra time to get on the trails.
Parking at Galbraith Mountain
Parking at Galbraith will be even more challenging than normal during the Outdoor Research Galbraith Mountain Enduro Race on Saturday and Sunday. If you must drive, follow these directions to Galbraith's two main parking lots:

Galbraith Overflow Parking
If you find that the Galbraith trailhead parking lots are full, overflow parking is just a short bike ride away.

Galbraith Northside overflow parking: Park at Whatcom Falls Park on Electric Ave.

Galbraith Southside overflow parking: Park at Transition Outpost, Samish Way Park n' Ride or Lake Padden Park.

Chuckanut Parking
Chuckanut mountain bike trails are located on the south end of Whatcom County along the Salish Sea. You will need a valid Discover Pass in your vehicle if parking at any of the areas below, which you can purchase here. Cleator Road has gated access and opens around 8 AM and closes at sundown. Plan your rides accordingly so you don’t get locked in!
- Park at the North Chuckanut Trailhead parking lot on Cleator Road or on Fragrance Lake Road.
