Big love to everyone who rolled through Bellingham for Northwest Tune-Up 2025. Because of you, this year exploded into our biggest and boldest bash yet—more bikes, louder bands, bigger high-fives and countless unforgettable moments. Over 13,000 strong, the crowd was a wave of energy, pushing the festival’s vibe to new heights.
Trails, Triumphs and Gear Testing
The riding was a smorgasbord of stoke: from techy singletrack threading through Galbraith Mountain to scenic forest roads, and from the sculpted dirt jumps that demanded amplitude to the pump track that challenged the speed racers—both of which brought out a frenzy of cheers and adrenaline.
For those chasing podium glory, the Outdoor Research Galbraith Mountain Enduro served up relentless, all-day adrenaline that tested grit and skill. And the Evil Gravel Gran Fondo? An untamed party ride that carved through the Chuckanut forest dirt roads with a mix of grit, grin and good times.

The Exhibitor Village was its own electric ecosystem, buzzing with the latest and greatest gear from over 100 bike brands, local artists and awesome vendors. It wasn’t just a chance to check out the tech—it offered attendees hands-on fun to test new bikes and shop for fresh gear to keep the stoke alive long after the festival.
Turning Up the Volume on Music & Community
When the sun dipped, the soundtrack shifted into high gear. Friday and Saturday nights pulsed with a variety of tunes that kept the crowd hooked. STS9’s signature jamtronica fused hypnotic beats with live improvisation, lighting the night on fire. Silversun Pickups brought their alt-rock swagger and shimmering guitar riffs, weaving a lush soundscape that held everyone spellbound. The SteelDrivers dropped soulful, fiery bluegrass to celebrate their 20th anniversary. And The 502s, clad in jorts and party shirts, turned up the fun factor, sparking dance-offs and singalongs under the stars.
But if you’ve been to Tune-Up before, you know it’s not just about the riding and music—it’s about the community that shows up to make it what it is. Old friends, new friends, brands and businesses that believe in coming together to create opportunities to connect with your community. New this year, the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame exhibit and Perspectives Panel Discussion offered a deeper connection to both the history and future of biking. Meanwhile, the free public zone opened its arms wide, welcoming families, locals and newcomers to get a taste of what our big little community is all about.
