GETTING TO THE TRAILHEAD

Leave the bike shuttling to us. We offer free bike shuttles from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday–Sunday to festival ticketholders so you can spend more time riding and less time driving in circles. And with free, on-site bike valet at the festival grounds, it’s easier than ever to ditch the car for the weekend. Need to take your own vehicle to the trailhead? Check below for trailhead directions and parking instructions. All bikes must be returned to the Expo Village by 5 p.m.

Bike Shuttles

Bike shuttles operate every day of the festival, Friday–Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., every 15–30 minutes. Shuttles will transport ticketholders and their bikes to the Galbraith and Chuckanut trailheads. The last shuttles depart the festival grounds at 5:30 p.m. The last shuttles depart the trailheads at 6 p.m.

NOTE: Bike demo checkout ends at 3 p.m. and all demos must be returned to festival grounds by 5 p.m.

The last shuttles depart the trailheads at 6 p.m., but please plan your afternoon rides carefully to ensure you arrive at the festival by 5 p.m. You’ll need to make your own return arrangements if you miss the last shuttle from the trailhead. Riders that depart the festival grounds at 5 p.m. or later should expect to be without return shuttle service. Thanks to our shuttle providers Dig Deep Tours, Huckwagons, Intrinsic Flow and Transcadia Excursions.

If you must drive and find that the Galbraith trailhead parking is full, additional nearby parking lots at Galbraith are a short bike ride away.

Northside access: Park at Whatcom Falls Park on Electric Ave.

Southside access: Park at Transition Outpost, Samish Way Park n' Ride or Lake Padden Park.

Chuckanut Parking

Chuckanut mountain bike trails are located on the south end of Whatcom County along the Salish Sea. You will need to display a valid Discover Pass in your vehicle if parking at any of the Chuckanut areas below, which you can buy here.

Parking is available at the North Chuckanut Trailhead parking on Cleator Road or on Fragrance Lake Road.

Note that access on Cleator Road is gated and opens around 8 a.m. and closes at sundown. Plan your rides accordingly so you don’t get locked in!
